The Dallas Area Council of the Blind strives to better the lives of blind and visually impaired people in the Dallas metropolitan area by providing a platform for advocacy, education, and community involvement.

The Foundation Fighting Blindness Chapter network brings people together across the country to join in fighting blinding retinal diseases. They share the latest research and advancements, and provide access to local resources to guide individuals through their personal journey.

Dallas Area Rapid Transport (DART) Paratransit Services provides curb-to-curb public transportation for people with disabilities who are unable to use DART's bus or rail services.

Vocational Rehabilitation programs through Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) help people with disabilities prepare for, find, or retain employment and help youth and students prepare for post-secondary opportunities.
